It's a beautiful morning!
It is a beautiful crappy weather today!
I must have been touched by an angel or god because I looked in the mirror today and my HAIR was amazingly in place...no comb, no blow drying. Damn I feel good(god?). *dancing like Risky Business*
Enough.
A few nights ago I came upon a movie called "Indie games: the movie". Yeah to me it sounded like a comedy but strangely enough it isn't. It was friggin serious. The amount of time and money and sacrifice of NOT having a social life or life for that matter...just to finish up a game, is insane! Then again I too would be do the same if I poured my heart and soul into a project. So yes, perfectly normal. Big props to these guys that make it or break it.
Come and see.
Awesome movie!

Crockpots and Freezer Meals
While purusing my way through Pinterest, I've stumbled upon a picture with food kept in a ziplocked bags, titled "Freezer Slow Cooker Meals".
Other than this Gangnam style(we shall discuss in another post), I've also discovered freezer meals. Basically its setting up a pre-made meals then put them a bag then store it in a freezer. All the seasoning and chopped meat/chicken and veggies are all mixed in one bag. Simple, no? Well, it does take a while to chop them all up for a month's worth and seasoning them too! However, as I delve deeper into this trend, I noticed moms or busy women (men?) are in awe of this great idea. I'm sure having kids +job +husband isn't easy. So any quick short cut to cooking is a godsend. Since I'm not a mom or a wife yet, or for that matter have a job(at the moment), I've decided to take up this crockpot freezer meal trend. Let's see how this works.
In my humble home, freezer meals are not done. They just aren't. Food is either eaten completely or saved in the fridge for a midnight snack. No left-overs. Poor mum has to cook everyday. Hopefully, this works for me. So here's to cooking smarter and faster.
Just in case anyone is reading about this trend:

It's HOT. Not the sexy kind.
Hello and salutations.
I never was one for the summer weather. More like the in between weather. Spring. Autumn/Fall. The harsh reality is that I live in **, and this weather is either extremely hot/humid or really fucking cold. Then again, Vermont was COLD. I wish only a peaceful and comfortable environment. Is that so much to ask? Sure I could put on the AC or fan on...but I'd rather just save money. Correction, I need to save money. I'm a recessionista! Saving money is of the utmost importance, next to my studies...then hygiene. :p
Oi! Luckily, I got my mind off of this dismal heat. A care plan due tommorrow morning(bright and early) and youtube-searching the shit out of this new comedian I came across while surfing(Stephen Merchant). Although, this is classic me, procrastinating again from a deadline that is too close for comfort. Tall, thin, probing eyes, and nerdy glasses...sounds like my childhood through adolescence(except I wasn't tall.)
*Whomp whomp* Well, back to work! Wish me luck! Anyone?
