So like my title suggests, I'm on that trend which calls for eating healthy and regular exercise. I 've gained some (meaning a lot) of weight after my honeymoon. So I get to a point where I can't fit into all my pairs of jeans and pull out the "fat" jean. The "fat" jean is only one pair...meaning that is my only pair for the week or ever! This tells me that I have to lose weight or I will be wearing only one pair of jeans. If I buy more in the bigger size then that means I'm sticking with the weight...which is unhealthy and costly since a pair of really good jeans go for 30-50 bucks. No! I will NOT buy new pair of jeans unless they are ripped or stained badly or burnt (don't ask). These days the jean trend is skinny leg style...yuck! Or that Jeggings which are leggings+jeans = I see your panties through the sheer blue fabric. I have been saving my jeans (since before the skinny trend). For the past few years jeans have favored the skinny girls form. I'm waiting for that trend to move on to something more fitting for voluptuous women or medium built girls. I hate (more than words can describe) this new style. I CURSE THE FASHION GODS!!!! Yeah I'm calling out on you highly expensive, ridiculously looking, skinny wenches or hags that create "style" that is neither practical or sensible and mostly not environment friendly (NJ has hurricanes, flimsy fabrics will not survive a NJ winter walk).
***runs to bathroom for a cold shower***
....cooled down.
Anyways, I am back on the healthy track. I know I can do this since I lost 20lbs just before my wedding. I can do that again but this time eat carbs (not overdoing it). God I missed carbs. Its reasonable to say that I over ate at Cabo since its the CHURRO capital of the world. God knows I love me some churros! Only one day of the week I plan to splurge. So that special day is know as CHURRO DAY! *Mexican party in my head*
What else you say?...(again I don't think anybody reads this, so I humor myself)
The Fall 2013 Bucket List is BACK!
'Tis the season! For pumpkin picking, drinking mulled apple cider, corn mazes, carving pumpkins, and basically anything with pumpkins, costumes, cinnamon, apples, Halloween, and autumn leaves. God this is exciting!
Making memories!

Off-beat Bride.
So I got Married.
Done, all outta the way. So moving on from that wedding subject that is no longer a pink elephant in my hectic life. Jorge and I are happy. Mind you, this is day 2 of being home from the honeymoon. The honeymoon was excellent! Los Cabos, Mexico...I will always miss you. I'd insert some picture but I didn't bring my phone. Damn, no service and I really don't want the burden of extra charges on my bill for this month. Jorge, being the bartender/drinker, brought over Don Julio tequila. When in Mexico, drink tequila. I already made up my mind that I HAD to do a detox diet once I get home. This liver of mine made the trip back and its tired of tequila.
I feel charged up. Energized. New. I don't have the burden of my family to govern my ideas, behaviors, and ambitions. I don't have to babysit the house(yes its not a typo) from thieves or robbers. I don't have a curfew to guide my whereabouts or sleeping pattern. Nag free. Hassle free. Heck, even stress free from bonds that ya can't get rid of...
I truly do care about my family. They raised me and so I shall give back. I shall give the gift of appreciating them from afar. I can call them, visit them, but definitely not stay over night. I will be a better daughter, sister, and care taker to them when I am just a town away.
Family. Well, Jorge and I are thinking of expanding our little family. Yep ladies and gentlemen(honestly I don't think anyone reads this) we are getting a PUPPY! Today was day 1 of checking out animal shelters for that special dog/pup. We are looking into Boxers, Husky, Akita, Pitbulls(yes cuz they get sucha bad rep), short haired breeds. Although, my dream is to own a huge dog. Yeah, a walking Snuggie blanket like the adorable Newfoundland or Mastifs. Call me crazy but I just love 'em. They are gentle giants.
----side note, we already took in a cat, due to Hurricane Sandy being such a bitch on stray animals. So a dog with manners around other animals is best. We accepted the fact that we have become the owners of this cat instead of a foster family. It was a strange transition but it happened.

Adding to my Bucket List!
So let's be straight forward.
Food is the joy of my existence. Frankly, whether I eat it through sheer hunger or eating emotions, it's a comfort and a joy to taste.
Its January. Do you know what that means? I am not going to school. I am just working. So naturally, this means I have time to do this, RESTAURANT WEEK!!!!! But no, not just week, I'm gonna do this for the whole year! Yes! I'm doing this! This must be done. I've spent too much time studying and working my butt-off for a long time. It is time to eat! I suggest you all do the same. NJ has restaurant weeks set up for the whole year. I figured I would go travel throughout counties for their own restaurant weeks. List of place to go for restaurant week: Cape May, Hudson, Essex, NYC, Atlantic City, etc
There you have it. I will dine tonight!

New Year New You
Hello,
Today I got a lecture from my folks about life and planning and ...blah blah listening...and I cannot remember the rest. Probably because I wasn't listening. But how can anyone listen when your half awake and more asleep. Plus I had a dream which I was frantically trying to remember so I can jot them down and analyze later. Waking up is work. Then again, this is my life til I start work later this month. I should take advantage of this opportunity of being a bum...
I hope New Year's was good to everyone. :) It was pleasant for me. No doubt I wasn't looking forward to it. I'm getting married. Yay...-_- Mind you, I love my fiance. The dear man works two jobs to give me all that I need. God bless him, I hope he gets raptured and go to heaven(not anytime soon). What I'm bummed about is the planning and the fake "OMG I'm getting MARRIED. OMG OMG OMG! I want the PERFECT wedding." Seems all women want me to have that same excitement when they got married or dream of getting married. No ladies. NO. I am not that kind of women. Actually, I sometimes wonder if I am a "women". Putting make-up on and wearing uncomfortable shoes for fashion trends..just seems all pointless. I feel a bit like a transexual when I do it. Putting on what is naturally not there. No offense. I admire their flawless make-up and somehow perfect skin.
Looking forward to spring. Keeping warm in the winter. And currently looking for projects to accomplish. I'd like to explore my creative side again. Last year was food. This year will be food and arts&crafts. Hahaha! Can't seem to leave food behind as a project.
New Year's Resolution:
1. What did I get for Christmas? Fat. I got fat. So naturally, lose weight. Same resolution since 2005. LOL!
2. more to come...haha!
